Headteacher Welcome

Dear Families, Guardians, and Community Members,

I am delighted to introduce myself as the new Headteacher of St Mary Redcliffe Primary, a vibrant and inclusive two-form entry primary school nestled in the heart of Bristol. It is with great excitement and a sense of privilege that I join this wonderful community, and I look forward to working closely with each of you to support our students' growth and success.

At St Mary Redcliffe Primary, we believe that every child deserves a high-quality education in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Our dedicated staff is committed to providing a curriculum that not only meets academic standards but also fosters creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning. We aim to inspire our students to become confident, compassionate, and responsible citizens.

With a strong emphasis on collaboration, we value the partnerships between our school, families, and the wider community. Together, we create an enriching educational experience that caters to the unique needs and aspirations of each child. Your involvement and support are crucial, and I encourage you to actively participate in school activities, events, and initiatives.

My vision for St Mary Redcliffe Primary is to build on its existing strengths while continuously striving for excellence in all areas. We will focus on:

  • Academic Achievement: Ensuring that all students reach their full potential through high-quality teaching and learning practices.
  • Wellbeing: Promoting a positive, inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported.
  • Community Engagement: Strengthening the bonds between our school and the local community to enhance the educational experience for our students.
  • Innovation: Embracing new ideas and technologies to prepare our students for the challenges of the future.

I am excited about the journey ahead and the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students. I am committed to maintaining open lines of communication, and I invite you to share your thoughts, ideas, and feedback with me. Together, we can ensure that St Mary Redcliffe Primary remains a place where every child thrives.

Thank you for your warm welcome. I look forward to meeting you all and working together to achieve great things.

With warm regards,

Christina Brugger
