I am very pleased to welcome you to St Mary Redcliffe Primary School. Our school is situated in the heart of Bristol and serves a diverse and vibrant community. Our ethos is “Rooted in Love”. This aptly describes the basis on which we work here at our school. We nurture and support our children which allows them to flourish, grow and learn. We are members of The Diocese Of Bristol Academy Trust (DBAT) which is a group of 15 schools working closely together.
We have a number of priorities to work on this year.
We are rolling out a new phonics scheme to boost our already good results in Yr1 and Yr2.
To improve our children's attainment in mental maths.
To improve outcomes for children with SEN.
To ensure high quality teaching and learning in the Early Years
To review our approach to RE and Collective Worship.
In addition it is my aim to maintain the excellent work of the school whilst a new Headteacher is recruited.

Sorry there is no parking at school on Windmill Close. Please park safely on local roads; Whitehouse Street and other near by roads are for permit holders only.
Parking around Victoria Park is best; it is only a quick walk through the park to the front of school.
